Hesitation

Waiting for you was always a fêted occasion

Voiced names countless times over and over

No answer or message was reciprocated.

Sometimes I wonder if love exists for me.

You were ready to spare words and more.

And now I see nothing but hesitation,

Even a hard hearted woman will need shoes,

To walk through stones and rough roads.

She will look for it when she sees thorns,

Yet I remain here with pretexts that are easy.

Sometimes words are misunderstood...
but if you decide to be negative towards every single word, then you are hurting the person in question.

Hi Sapna:)

Greetings:)

Lovely poem with deep insight and loaded with meaning.

Hesitation is the reason for losing opportunities.

Recently I came to know about a young man who hesitated to declare his love and the girl would have almost married another man. But this young man confided his love to his friend and the friend informed the girl. This girl was actually in love with this young man but agreed to marry another man because of parents's insistence. When she came to know that this young man was in love with her, she immediately broke of the engagement and is now read to marry her lover. She is even prepared to antagonize her parents in the process. All this confusion happened because the young hesitated to declare his love to her directly. Believe me this is a real life story.

Have a wonderful weekend Swapna:)
Joseph

Thanks Joseph JI,for your visit and wonderful response.Unlike you i do not think, you can declare and decide on love, when it slips through your hands and go past your life, you realize and then its too late. One thing i believe strongly,God never let the real love go past you,it will always come back to you,No matter how many years and how many lives you live past, with it.

Is hesitation always bad?
Perhaps it's your inner mind asking you to exercise more caution.
Better to hesitate and hold back rather than be impulsive, jump in and regret later?
What if it's infatuation and not real love? [ie endocrinological rather than cardiac!??]

Nice one, Sapna and this is your good friend--

Anoni.

Dear Friend Anoni, thanks for the comment, there is not question of hesitation in love, your decide and jump,it might be good or bad,but making it good of bad is up to you
