Footprints of Time

The  picture belongs to Viji Kurian

Sands of time, did you ever knew me?
Walking away with time  unlimited to us
That transfers the mental images in mind,
Visuals that convey feelings to mind.

Sands of time, did you ever knew me?
Slipped through my toes and fingers,
Never hurting but vibes the presence,
You were soothing to my feet and mind.

Sands of time, did you ever knew me?
Start trusting the tip of your being,
Begin to love the soft movements
A friendly swap is initiated within us.

Sands of time, did you ever knew me?
Trivial as they may feel, seen and heard
Enticed and soothing to thy feet,
They remain simply sand, negligible.

Sands of time, did you ever knew me?
Washed away into the drains of time,
Swapped off with a tap of fingers,
Yet they entangle to thy bosom evermore.
